Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership is looking for a PROGRAM AIDE to work
in their Norfolk WIC Office. 40 hours per week, M-F. Hourly wage plus benefits. Bilingual skills highly desired. Aide assists in the operation of the WIC and Immunization programs and helps participants in filling out the necessary forms for program assistance. The Program Aide is responsible for aiding in the operation of the WIC and Immunization Programs. Assess household gross income and number in household; explain proper use of eWIC card, WIC ID card and appointment card to participants and any other needed correspondence in a professional manner. Aid in translating when necessary for the participant who is non/English speaking/reading. Refer clients as needed or requested. Quality control of daily office tasks and supply inventory. Enter accurate records into the computer system. Complete Immunization billing process for each router. Travel to assigned clinics as required. Lifting up to and including 50 pounds. Submit reports and summaries by deadlines or as requested. Routine cleaning of work site to ensure a safe and clean environment. Maintain confidentiality of all participant client information and follow Program and Agency standards, policies, and procedures.
High School Diploma or GED required
WAGE & BENEFITS:
Wage starting at $13.25 per hour, plus benefits. Work hours are 8:00 to 4:30 Monday - Friday. Benefits include health, life, dental and vision insurance. Paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, EAP and 401K Retirement.
