EDUCATION PROGRAM is looking for a NUTRITION/TEACHER AIDE for their partnership program
at the Little Blujays Preschool in Walthill. 40 hours per week, M-F with seasonal layoff. Hourly
wage, plus benefits. Assist in carrying out the meal service for the center, following CACFP
regulations along with food and safety sanitation of the facility. Assist in the classroom as requested.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Nutrition/Teacher Aide is responsible to assist in carrying out the meal service in accordance to
the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and follow Food and Safety Sanitation requires of
the facility. Complete and post required nutrition paperwork. Perform cleaning duties as required by
the center. Assist in the classroom as needed under the direction of the Teacher. Frequent kneeling,
stooping, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds. Possess basic computer skills. Maintain confidentiality
of program participants and follow Program and Agency standards and policies.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and one of the following:
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential,
• Enrolled in a CDA credential program that will be completed within 2 years,
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in any field or be enrolled in a program leading to such a
degree

WAGE & BENEFITS:
The wage is $11.00 per hour plus benefits. Benefits include health, life, dental and vision insurance. Paid
