Family Services Program Support (Pender Location)

Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership’s Family and Community Services Program in Pender has an immediate opening for a FAMILY SERVICES PROGRAM SUPPORT person.  40 hours per week M-F.  Hourly wage plus benefits.  Assist Family Services staff with clerical duties, data entry, and day to day operations regarding client needs and services. Aide with Commodity Supplemental Food Program clinics, including distribution and delivery. Maintain accurate records and perform community outreach as assigned. Position intended to be two-year term, based on program funding. High School graduate or GED required, experience in related field preferred. JOB SUMMARY:

The Family Services Program Support staff person will answer the phone and return messages, using professional etiquette, communicate and collect information regarding client needs and advising of available services and resources. Assist with Commodity Supplemental Food Program clinics packaging and loading food boxes into vehicles and unloading truck deliveries. Provide food pantry assistance to clients including distribution and delivery. Assist Family Services staff with clerical duties and data entry. Perform community outreach. Maintain accurate records and reports and updated job duty procedures. Lifting and carrying of approximately 50-pound units of USDA and food pantry foods in repetition. Maintain confidentiality of all participant/client information and follow Program and Agency standards and policies.

  • The funding for this position will end 09/30/2022.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High School Graduate or GED required.  6 plus months of experience in related field preferred.

 

 

WAGE & BENEFITS: 

The wage is $13.50 per hour, plus benefits. Benefits include health, life, dental and vision insurance.  Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave, EAP, 401K Retirement.
