Assistant Human Resources Director (Pender NE Location)

Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership is looking for an Assistant Human Resources Director to work at our central office in Pender, with advancement opportunity.  40 hours per week M-F with  a competitive starting wage and excellent benefits.  NENCAP pays 100% of employee single coverage for medical, life, dental and vision. JOB SUMMARY: The HR Assistant Director is responsible for the administrative duties of the HR Department along with providing support to the HR Director.  This includes assisting HR Director in preparing and sending out job postings,  tracking all job applicants on HR information system,  helping in the interview, and hiring process as needed.  Working with new employees through the orientation process completing agency paperwork, enrollment into the health, life dental and vision insurance program, and flex plans.   Assist the HR Director in administration of the Agency’s benefit programs, including insurance, ACA Tracking, retirement, and drug-free program. Assist with the filing and record keeping of personnel forms, maintaining and tracking required paperwork, entering data into the Employee Access Database, and answering phone calls using professional etiquette.  Submitting and tracking return of background checks to program requirements.   Preparing monthly department statistical reports.  Maintain confidentiality and follow Program and Agency standards and policies.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resources.  Professional HR Certification desired.

WAGE & BENEFITS:  The starting wage is $­­19.00 per hour, plus benefits. Benefits include health, life, dental and vision insurance.  Paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, EAP, 401K Retirement.
